Red Kite Credit Union serves the area of mid-Powys between the Montgomeryshire border to the north and a line approximately along the summit of Mynydd Epynt in the south and along the River Wye in the south-east. It covers the towns of Builth Wells, Knighton, Llandrindod Wells, Llanwrtyd Wells, Presteigne and Rhayader, and all the smaller places in this area from the western border with Dyfed and Ceredigion to the eastern border with England. A non-exhaustive list of some of the smaller places is given in the opposite panel and of course all the countryside around is included.
